Hampstead

I found the most wonderful website that is all about the history of Hampstead - the roads, buildings, pubs, etc. I spent over an hour poring over it and loving every minute. Both photos here are of the High Street circa 1902.

It's filled with photos old and new. Very interesting stuff, makes me love living here even more.

Check it out here.

  1. I think it's great to find out about the history where you live...it gives you more of a sense of belonging.

  2. You have had a busy summer!
I just spent ages catching up on your blog. It's first on my list of blogs I follow so I have had a good read.

Diva TV is the best. I follow loads of the American chefs and LOVE Ina and Giada and of course Rachel Ray. I do feel she was happier with her full length show over her 30 minute meals one. Ina does the best spinach, pea and pesto salad. We have been eating it all summer.

Don't worry about going home to NYC. It will all come back to you and you will run around like a little kid.The City doesn't change as quick as some places. My home town, Greenwich, CT seems to change over night with big houses, clubs, shopping, and horticultural businesses!
It's odd going back and wouldn't if I didn't still have family there.

And Archie- for real? I'll have to take a look :)
