Who do you write like?

Here's a fun little exercise. Go to I Write Like and put in a blog entry to see who you write like. I write like David Foster Wallace (I WISH!). Who do you write like? Try it and let me know.

  1. Interesting..... I too write like D F Wallace!! Pleased to say I don't have his depression and maybe I am all the poorer (in the literary sense) for that fact.

  2. I too was surprised to hear I had the voice of a suicidal man! But I do love his writing so good for us!

  4. I got Margaret Atwood. Yeah, right. I wish!

The funny thing is that Margaret Atwood tried this and apparently she got Stephen King!

  5. Hmmm I got David Foster Wallace twice and I put in two very different pieces. Wonder how many writers they have in the database to compare with? (Or rather, "with which to compare".)

  7. Limey - it is fun!

Marsha - that is hilarious! I wonder if Stephen King writes like Margaret Atwood.

Expat Mum - every time I put anything of mine in it says David Foster Wallace. So I tried putting in other blogs writing and it came out differently each time! Then I tried me again - DFW. Hmmmm...

Ayak - Margaret Atwood is not too shabby! Bet she couldn't keep a blog in the heat you have to contend with on a daily basis!
