Next we went to have a birthday lunch under the London Eye, went to Sea Life where Cate adopted a shark and named him Toothy. Everything was a wonder - she loved it. Afterwards we sat on the grass outside Westminster Abbey while performers danced and beautiful African bride walked by to the beat of goatskin drummers and Cate played football with two little boys.
By the time we got home she was exhausted. She fell asleep before we could take her outside to sing happy birthday with all the other kids! Finally around 7:30 she woke up - the other kids had to go back to their flats so we sang happy birthday to her and she had her cake. Granted she didn't go back to sleep until midnight - ergo the extra cup of coffee for me this morning.
X didn't think much of it:

Oh what a lovely day. We Archers love that Sea Life centre and have spent very similar days.
